Whenever you are beginning a major change to your website it is always a good idea to backup your data.
Before you begin your move, backup all of your data both for your website and your store.

Order your hosting account at Hosting Signup or call (877) 457-4438 and we will help you through the process. |

Fill out the form below and an Advanced e-Resources technician will move your store to our servers. |
You will want to audit your store after the move is complete to ensure nothing was missed during the move.
If you find anything missing, contact Advanced e-Resources and we will assist you in recovering the missing items.
With some older MIVA stores errors may occur due to the major differences in the versions of the software. Advanced
e-Resources will do everything possible to facilitate your move but some manual editing may be needed.

When your site move is complete and you are happy with the results you will need to change your DNS settings so that
shoppers find the new site. Our DNS settings are located on our support page.
It may take from 24-48 hours for your changes to make its way through the Internet although we have seen this occur more quickly. This will
depend on where you are located in the country in relation to our datacenter.

Our movers will contact you to confirm details and arrange for the move of your store.
For very large or complex stores there may be a fee to make the move. We will contact you
to discuss any details within 24 hours.
We will move website files, Miva stores, and databases to your new server.
If you would like us to setup your email accounts for you, please provide a list of email
addresses and passwords you would like to use and upload them through our HELP DESK.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail in response to this request and another e-mail once the move has been completed.
Once your move is completed you will need to audit your site to be sure everything is functioning as it should. If there
are any problems just send us an email to migration@advancederesources.com and we will
address the issue ASAP.
