Can I host multiple websites?
Yes, you can host multiple websites on an Advanced e-Resources account. We use domain pointing to let you use your current web hosting resources for additional websites. These addtional websites can have their own distinct content, and domain name (i.e. www.anotherwebsite.com). They will share the same IP address, disk storage space, and bandwidth transfer of the main hosting account, as well as emails.

Can I upgrade my hosting plan at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade your account at any time in your Control Panel. Just click on 'Upgrade CP' and the upgrade will take place immediately if you have our AER Control Panel or email upgrades@advancederesources.com


How long after I sign up will I be able to start uploading my website?
Within 10 minutes of signing up you will receive a welcome email with all the information you need to start uploading your website, setting up your email addresses, or creating your website using one of our development tools.


Do I have unlimited access to update my pages?
Yes. You can edit your website any time day or night.


Can I have a website with adult content on your server as long as it is legal?

Yes. You will be automatically charged in one lump sum at the annual rate which is 20% off our regular prices when you sign up. You will be charged again that same lump sum one year from your anniversary date.

Can I track how many people visit my Web site?
All accounts come with a Site Statistics Tool in the Control Panel that shows hits, referrer logs, country stats and more! You can even look at this data in a graphical format showing daily, monthly and yearly activity. Shopping cart accounts also come with Urchin Web Analytics.

For an additional fee, standard hosting accounts can add Urchin to your site. Urchin is a full featured web analytics package that will not only help you discover more about your stats, but also provide detailed information on the success of your marketing efforts.


What are referral logs and does Advanced e-Resources offer referral logs?
Referral logs tell you the web site from which visitors reached your page. Using this information, you can tune your online advertising to maximize traffic to your site. We provide referrer logs for all hosting accounts.


Do you provide Internet access?
No. We believe we can provide better service to our hosting clients by concentrating on what we know best and leave the connection issues to those experts. Your local ISP!


Does Advanced e-Resources allow cronjobs?
Yes, Advanced e-Resources permits cronjobs. However, we do reserve the right to shut down any cronjobs that place too much load on our servers.


What is considered SPAM?
SPAM is any unsolicited email. If you would like to send email to your customers, we recommend Miva Mailer. By utilizing Miva Mailer your bandwidth and transfer is reserved for customers trying to purchase from your site. For more information on SPAM please see our Terms of Use Policy.


Can I change my billing cycle at any time?
Advanced e-Resources utilizes a "first of the month" billing cycle and policy. This allows us to concentrate on supporting you and your website rather than generating charges on a daily basis.


How will I be billed for my account?
If you paid by credit card your credit card will be charged automatically for each hosting account on the first of the month based on your renewal date either monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually or 2 years.

If you signed up for check payment, you will be emailed an electronic check payment form. We will deposit your check on the first of the month with your approved transaction information.


What happens when I go over the data transfer allowed on my account?
You will be notified via email when you are nearing your limit. All you have to do then is click on 'Upgrade CP' in your control panel and upgrade to a higher plan that allows more transfer, or contact us and we can add more transfer to your account. The upgrade will happen within 5 minutes.

You can easily monitor your data transfer in your control panel. And, you can have an email sent to you when you are within a limit specified by you. Just click on the 'Account Management' button in your control panel to set up this notification.


Does Advanced e-Resources offer any ready-to-run CGI-scripts?
Yes. Advanced e-Resources offers several ready-to-run cgi-scripts with all our plans. These scripts include FormMail (for emailing form results), Hit Counter, Discussion Board, Meta Tag Search, Guestbook, Web Board, and many others.


Does Advanced e-Resources provide any database solutions?
Yes. Advanced e-Resources supports MYSQL and it can be easily setup and managed using the MYSQL administration tool in the Control Panel.


Do you support Java servlets, Shockwave and Real Audio and Video?
Java servlet support is available on selected plans, contact our sales team for information. Shockwave and Real media is supported on all Hosting plans.
